Painting in Roseville, CA
Interior, exterior and cabinet painting across Roseville, from Old Town to the newer subdivisions north and east.
Roseville is the largest city in Placer County — 147,773 people at the 2020 census — and it has grown fast enough that the age of the housing changes noticeably as you move across it. Old Town and the streets around it carry early-twentieth-century homes; the subdivisions north and east of the city are recent enough that some are still on their original paint.
Those are two different conversations. An original-paint house that has never been repainted is usually a straightforward job with good substrate underneath, and the work is mostly washing, caulking and getting two solid coats on. An older home near the center is the opposite — it may have eighty years of coatings on it, and the first job is finding out what is still bonded and what is not.
Roseville sits at about 164 feet, high enough above the valley floor to get slightly cooler nights than Sacramento does, which in practice widens the useful working window on an exterior in high summer. It does not change the fundamentals: in July, an exterior here still means following the shade around the building rather than working straight through, because coating a wall that is far hotter than the air is how lap marks and early failure happen.

We’re in Rancho Cordova and hired GP Sacramento for an interior repaint. Fernando painted the main living areas in a warm white and chose a low-sheen finish that helped soften the appearance of the wall texture. The living room now feels clean, calm, and refreshed.
Great price! Our rental in Citrus Heights needed a fast turnaround between leases. Curtis and Fernando came together and did it in one full day, two people, four rooms. Clean result, ready for showing the next morning.
Erik did a really nice job painting our ceiling and beams. Even though there are a lot of angles up there, everything came out clean and even, especially around the fan. He showed up on time, took his time with the details, and kept the area neat while he worked. We also added a few doors after he started, and he was totally flexible about it.
Greenback Painting worked with me when I was pretty honest that my budget was tight. I am on a fixed income and the exterior really needed doing. Curtis came out, assessed where the exterior was actually failing, and focused the scope on the sections showing peeling and weathering. That kind of prioritized approach was exactly what I needed.
